The Baton Rouge native agrees with the new law and says it should be enacted worldwide. From there, Boosie suggest a new bill of his own, indicating that if someone beats a murder charge, they should be allowed to carry a firearm, if they chose too, regardless of their criminal record. Boosie goes on to explain that the reason why he would like to see such a law enacted is so that famous rappers, like himself, can defend themselves after they've been rehabilitated. He also goes on to share his thoughts on discrimination against ex-cons in other aspects of life such as purchasing a new home in a nice neighborhood. This prompts Boosie to refer to Meek Mills fight for prison reform.
