How to keep your garlic fresh for about four months!INGREDIENTS
2kg garlic
300 ml apple vinegar
1 ½ tbsp coarse salt
1 tsp salt
4 thin lemon slices
2 bay leaves
Water
2 glass jars
METHOD
Cut the stem of each garlic and remove most of the skin from each head.
Place several heads in a bowl, cover with water, stir for several minutes and remove the drained garlic.
Fill the glass jar with the garlic. Add a bay leaf to each glass jar and 2 lemon slices to each jar. Mix coarse salt, lemon salt, and vinegar until the salt dissolves.
Pour into each glass jar, fill with water, and cover tightly.
