It was a short-lived victory for the Atlanta-based venture Fearless Fund, geared at helping Black women entrepreneurs.
In a 2-1 decision, the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted Edward Blum's of the American Alliance for Equal Rights request to temporarily block Fearless Fund from considering applications for grants only from businesses led by Black women.
The CEO of The Fearless Fund, Arian Simone spoke with Roland Martin about the legal attack launched by Edward Blum, the man behind the case against Harvard College that tlead to the Supreme Court dismantling affirmative action.
