In 2023, a white bus driver asked two Black men in Fargo, North Dakota, to move to the back of an empty bus.
Jarvis Greenhill and Xavier Davis were on their way home from work on July 13 when they showed their tickets to the Jefferson Lines bus driver. Despite no other passengers being on the bus, the driver, Koby McFarlane, asked them to move to the back and threatened to call the police.
Jefferson Bus Lines has since apologized and is investigating the incident.
