Description:
October 1988. San Quentin Prison. Death Row. Stanley "Tookie" Williams is walking past an open shower on the Death Row outdoor rec yard. A fellow Crip lunges out and stabs him in the neck with a 4 ½" shank, then throws the knife out onto the basketball court. Tookie Williams only statement to prison staff was to say: "I don't know what happened. I don't remember". But who was the Crip who dared to stab the infamous "Tookie", who, in addition to his mythical status on the streets of LA as the co-founder of the Crips, was alleged by the California department of Corrections to be exerting a huge influence and control on all Crip gang members in prison and even on the streets of Southern California.
His name is Tiquean Cox, aka Lil Fee, one of the most infamous and revered members of perhaps the single most powerful black gang in California. The Rollin Sixties Crips.
Lil Fee's trip to Death Row, and the reason he stabbed Tookie all stem back to people and events of August 31, 1984. That night two women, aged 59 and 25, along with two little boys- aged 6 and 12 were shot to death in South Central L.A. AND, they were the family of all pro defensive back Kermit Alexander. The quadruple homicide was quickly blamed on the Rollin 60's Crips… and "Crippin", already a word that denoted terror in South Central LA, became even more sinister.
