Description: Today we are hunting for the rarest and the coolest turtles in Florida! Called the Ornate Diamondback Terrapin, these elusive turtles are only found in the coastal grass prairie, and mangrove habitats. This turtle species is in rapid decline due to habitat loss and becoming bycatch of crab traps.
